Message From The Chair
Dear shareholders, dear business partners and colleagues,
As Fiba Group, we are excited to return to the capital markets after 15 years. During this period, we have successfully carried out our IPO, which we have been preparing for a long time in 2021, by identifying our first company to be IPO as the Gelecek Varlık, which is the leading enterprise of it’s sector. The shares of Gelecek Varlık with a nominal value of 26.400.000 TL representing 18.9% of the total capital, were offered to the public and the company's shares started trading on Borsa Istanbul as of October 21, 2021. In Borsa Istanbul, in addition to representing a group of companies that investors trust, namely the Fiba Group, we will represent a sector that makes a great contribution to the healthy existence of the financial system of our country.
As asset management companies we undertake an important task in the field of debt resolution by investing and taking over the non-performing retail and commercial loan portfolios of banks and other financial institutions. Thanks to our organizational and corporate flexibility, we produce solutions for both the liquidation of receivables and financial and operational restructuring issues in commercial loans as well as personal loans. The recovery processes experienced in the financial sector after the transition periods in which credit expansions were experienced to overcome the natural contractions in the economy offer great opportunities for asset management companies. We will try to use the growth potential in front of our sector in the most efficient way from now on.
As an institution affiliated to the BRSA, we aim to provide financial freedom to more people and institutions and strengthen our position in the sector with the presence of our investors by continuing our transparent management structure which we have meticulously built up to now with the responsibility of being present at Borsa Istanbul in a strong way.
We continue to progress rapidly in our digitalization efforts by advancing innovation and all kinds of studies that will benefit our stakeholders in the most efficient way. We closely follow all kinds of developments and innovations in technology and business models and attach importance to applying them to our processes and business models.
As always, our company, which continues to carry out it’s activities continuously by putting the needs of all it’s stakeholders at the center in the first 9 months of 2022, continues to maintain it’s strong performance and growth in a strong and healthy way. In the coming period, our priority topics will be to make further progress in our digitalization, corporate governance and sustainability efforts, as well as an effective financial management aimed at operational profitability and strong cash flow.
Growth momentum in the coming period, which will increase the momentum of the asset management sector, I believe that the strengthening of the capital structure and assess the true potential of Gelecek Varlık’s of the stock market, a strong ecosystem of Istanbul will be one of the most revered institutions, we believe that our work is contributing to us on this occasion and Gelecek Varlık’s of the IPO process, believing, trusting, we believe that we will succeed together with all our stakeholders, our shareholders and our employees, I would like to thank.
